Dr. Kesavan Rajagopalan Amruthur is a senior Orthopaedic consultant who has been around for
more than 20 years now. He has played quite a role in introducing new forms of reconstructive
hip surgery. He also laid several new protocols for the same. He expertise in surgeries related
to hip for all aged patients. Also, it should be noted that hip replacement surgery is not only the
surgical procedure carried out. In various cases, surgeries are carried to preserve and restore
conditions.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
Dr. Kesavan Rajagopalan Amruthur has completed M.B.B.S from the Kilpauk Medical College in
Chennai in the year 1994. He also completed M.S in Orthopaedics from the University of
Mumbai in the year 1998. During his 2o years of experience, he has worked for medical
institutes like MIOT Hospitals, Chennai, Gleneagles Global Clinic, Adyar; in the former, he was
director and consultant, while in the latter he worked as a Senior consultant. Currently, he is
working with Gleneagles Global Hospital, Chennai as a senior consultant.

In the context of awards and achievements, Dr. Kesavan Rajagopalan Amruthur has been
inducted as the member of some of the elite organizations which include the like of Asia Pacific
Arthroplasty Society and Tamil Nadu Orthopaedic Association.
